Euroseries 3000

welcomes the vice-champion of Italian F.3 and driver for A1GP Team Italy, Edoardo Piscopo.

After ending his adventure in F.3 with the second place, Edoardo Piscopo will debut in F.3000 on the Barcelona track, in the race scheduled on 2nd November.

The Spanish event will surely prove to  be a  steping stone for the young Italian driver, who despite being just 20 years old  has a long experience in racing,

"I'm very happy to be able to do this experience in the F.3000 championship with the Sighinolfi Autoracing team. Unfortunately for me it will be the first time, having never driven the Lola B02/50 and that's why the two free practice sessions will be fundamental. Despite this I hope to do well and to be able to get a podium in race-2 too, thanks to the reverse grid. The car is very learning and surely it will be very useful for A1GP. At the moment the deal is just for the Barcelona race, but I will be happy to go on, above all looking forward to 2009, because Euroseries 3000 is surely one of the best championship in terms of quality and price. This new experience comes after the second place in the F.3 championship where I won seven races and just because of bad luck I couldn't take the title. I'm satisfied of the result anyway, because it will give me the possibility to do a test with Scuderia Ferrari at the wheel of the F2008 on the Fiorano track.“
