POOLE boss Neil Middleditch reckons Chris Holder’s absence from the Grand Prix nominations for next season is no bad thing.Holder, one of the most exciting young talents in the world, is backed for a bright future challenging for the world crown.Said Middleditch: “He’s still young and can learn a lot more in the Elite League. It gives him a season to consolidate his position next year.”

EASTBOURNE owner Bob Dugard wants Scott Nicholls back at Arlington next season should he be available.Nicholls is a Coventry asset and has hinted at missing out on the Elite League to reduce his racing schedule.Said Dugard: “I’ve told Scott we would like to have him back next season and he is giving it serious consideration. I have also kept Coventry fully informed of the situation.”
