NEVER ENDING EMOTIONS. FABRIZIO CRESTANI (GP RACING) WINS AHEAD OF RAFFAELE GIAMMARIA (SUPPORT RACE) AND LUIZ RAZIA (BULL RACING).Never ending emotions in F.3000's first event on the Magione track, last weekend of the championship. The real protagonist was the weather which, throughout the 28 laps, changed many times thus modifying the standings in an unpredictable way.

At the start the sun shined in the sky warming the track, but the race direction communicates the race will be wet because of the rain fallen in the hours before. At the start the race loses immediately one of its protagonists: Nicolas Prost, who is involved in a big accident together with other three cars.

Luiz Razia (Bull Racing), started from pole, mantains the leadership of the race, followed by Fabrizio Crestani (GP Racing), Raffaele Giammaria (Support Race), Fabio Onidi with the second GP and the Anglo-Pakistan  Adam Khan (TP Formula). At the fourth lap Fabrizio Crestani does a mistake and goes back to ninth place: Giammaria is thus second behind the leader Razia, followed by Onidi and Khan. Support Race's Italian tries to come back on the Brazilian, who has a two seconds advantage.

At 11 laps to the end the rain comes back on the Italian track, thus forcing all the drivers to come to the pits to change tyres: the GP team decides to stop immediately with Fabrizio Crestani, who meanwhile is back in fifth position. This strategy gives the Italian the possibility to close the gap, thus getting the top of the standings ahead of his team-mate and Luiz Razia. In the last laps Onidi has to give the second position to a fast Raffaele Giammaria, ahead of the Brazilian Razia. Fourth and fifth place for Fabio Onidi and Adam Khan, but after the race the Italian is penalized by 25" due to a chicane cut and the Anglo-Pakistan is up to fourth.

With one race to the end (this afternoon at 15:00) the fight is between the leader Nicolas Prost and Adam Khan, split by 5 points, while Fabio Onidi and Luiz Razia are out of contention.
