Glyne Geddie set for GTs in 2009

Aberdeen's Glynn Geddie is set for a busy year after announcing his 2009 plans to compete in the British GT Championship, along with programs in the European FIA GT4 Championship and KTM X-Bow Challenge with an ABG Motorsport prepared KTM X-Bow.

The reigning Porsche Carrera Cup GB Pro-Am 2 champion has set his sights on GT4 Supersport honors after getting behind the wheel of the striking-looking X-Bow in successful tests at Brands Hatch and Adria, Italy last month.

“I'm really looking forward to working with ABG Motorsport as the whole team is just as hungry to win as myself," said Geddie, adding, "I would also like to thank the team for giving me this opportunity for next year as I’m still young and appreciate there's a lot to learn."

2008 saw the Apex Tubulars backed ace power to the Pro-Am 2 spoils having just turned 18 and, even more outstandingly, in only his second season of racing.

Alongside this, Cheshire-based ABG Motorsport are no strangers to British GT and were regular visitors to the podium throughout 2008. With the KTM X-Bow having proved its worth with GT4 Supersport victories in Europe this year, this is definitely a force to be reckoned with next season.
