Eleven teams and thirty-six cars pre-selected

Thirty-six firm entries have been confirmed for the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 by the World Series by Renault Organizing Committee, while the maximum number of participants has been deliberately reduced to thirty-eight for this season. Eleven teams, representing eight different nationalities, have already been confirmed for the 2009 season, which gets underway in Barcelona on April 18-19, 2009.

The Organizing Committee  has selected eleven teams to participate in the 2009 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The list, in alphabetical order, is as follows:

 Other teams are considering the possibility of taking part in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and a standby list has been drawn up. The final list of entered teams will be announced no later than on February 15, 2009.

Three two-day collective testing sessions are scheduled to take place between now and the start of the season:
