CARBON ZERO RACING ANNOUNCES DRIVER ADAM JONES WILL PAIR WITH DAN EAVESCartridge World Carbon Zero Racing has announced that Adam Jones will complete its driver pairing for entry into the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). Adam will join former BTCC Independents Champion and number-one driver Dan Eaves in the first motor- racing team created to run its entire operation carbon zero.

Birmingham-born Jones, 28, returns to the track after a fantastic 2008 season in which he finished 3rd in the independent standings. Adam finished the season in 9th place in the overall Drivers Championship and third in the Independent standings. Highlights of his 2008 season were four 2nd places, two 3rd places and 6 podium positions.

When fans return to Brands Hatch in April for the first round of the BTCC 2009, they will be able to watch out for an exciting season from the strong pairing of the two motorsport professionals. Jones will join Dan Eaves, ex-independent BTCC Champion. Dan holds the record as the only BTCC driver to win all three races on race day.

Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing has received much attention since its team title sponsor launch at the Transport Research Laboratory in June 2008, where it confirmed its intention to operate a carbon zero policy, running two Seat Leon's on bio-fuels, minimising its emissions and off- setting any balance.

Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing is working with co2balance to implement its zero carbon policy, minimising emissions from its entire operation and offsetting any balance through energy efficiency projects in Africa.

Mark Holland, UK General Manager for title sponsor Cartridge World, said:“Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing is the only race team in Europe created with the sole intention of showcasing the performance, reliability and environmental advantages of new fuels, technology and ongoing R&D. Our association with the team demonstrates our unwavering commitment to the environment, and provides the company and its franchisees throughout the UK with a platform to demonstrate our mission to prevent millions of empty printer cartridges from being needlessly sent to landfill”.
