(SPEEDWAY 1)FORMER world champion Gary Havelock is backing the British Final for a revival at Poole.The prestigious event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, as part of the sport's 'Super 7even' series.Said Havelock: "Sadly the British Final has lost something gradually over the past 10-15 years, but if you put it on at Poole you can get a big crowd and that can help constitute a great meeting."(SPEEDWAY 2)SCOTT Nicholls will make a rare British appearance in Billy Hamill's farewell meeting at Wolverhampton.The Great Britain skipper, who is taking a year out of domestic racing to focus on his Grand Prix programme, has agreed to turn out for the 1996 World Champion on Sunday, March 22.Said Hamill: "Scott remains one of the most exciting riders to watch and it's so cool to have him at my meeting."
