MILLER LITE CARB DAY CONCERT MAY 22

Rock superstars 3 Doors Down will bethe headline act for the popular Miller Lite Carb Day Concert on Friday, May22 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IMS officials announced March 13. The concert is free to all ticket holders for Miller Lite Carb Day, thefinal day of on-track activity before the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race onSunday, May 24.

Tickets are just $10 each, with children 5 and underadmitted free. "Miller Lite Carb Day is filled with non-stop entertainment and excitementfrom start to finish," said Joie Chitwood, Indianapolis Motor Speedwaypresident and chief operating officer. "The energy and power of 3 Doors Downwill provide a perfect soundtrack to one of the biggest days of the year atthe Speedway."

The concert will mark a return to IMS for 3 Doors Down, which electrifiedthe 2005 Indianapolis 500 Race Day crowd with its performance duringpre-race ceremonies and driver introductions. 3 Doors Down consists of Brad Arnold, vocals; Matt Roberts, lead guitar;Chris Henderson, rhythm guitar; Todd Harrell, bass; and Greg Upchurch,drums. The band's catalog includes four acclaimed studio albums, which have soldmore than 15 million copies combined worldwide. 3 Doors Down's latest,self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2008.

The band's2005 album, "Seventeen Days," also reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in2005. Formed in Escatawpa, Miss., 3 Doors Down also has charted numerous hitsingles, including "Kryptonite," "Loser," "Duck and Run," "When I'm Gone,""Here Without You," "Let Me Go," "Behind Those Eyes" and "It's Not My Time."
