LATE ADDITIONS TO MADSEN TESTIMONIAL

TOM P. Madsen has been forced into a couple of changes ahead of his Testimonial meeting at the Norfolk Arena this coming Friday (March 20, 7.00pm).

King’s Lynn’s winter signings Darcy Ward and Christian Henry have both withdrawn from the event, but Madsen has moved quickly to bring in Jesper Kristiansen and Emiliano Sanchez to fill the void left by the home pair.

The Dane spoke on the late changes. “Darcy, like a number of Australians at the moment, has experienced delays in getting his work permit sorted out in time for the start of the season.

“It’s a real shame he can’t be there for my big night, but it’s just one of those things that can’t be helped.“To add to that, I’ve also received a phone call from Christian Henry to say he has unfortunately had to pull out as well.“Thankfully, my new Stoke team-mate, Jesper Kristiansen and King’s Lynn new boy Emiliano Sanchez have both agreed to ride at short notice. I’m really grateful to them for stepping into the breach.

“They are both good riders and to be honest I don’t think the changes willmake the line-up any weaker or stronger.”
