Glynn Geddie joins Parker Racing

FOR 2009 ATTACK

Scottish racing driver Glynn Geddie will be making a return to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB with reigning champions Team Parker Racing for 2009.

The eighteen year-old from Aberdeen, who took the Pro-Am 2 crown in his maiden term in the series last year, has a hectic pre-season testing programme and is looking forward to the year ahead with his new team.

"I'm delighted to have been given such an opportunity to be a part of Team Parker Racing.", enthused the Apex Tubulars-backed ace. "They have proved themselves to be winners and are clearly the best package for me to further my career. Our tests so far this year have been very positive so I think we're in for a fruitful season ahead."

Team Parker Racing principle Stuart Parker added, "We're very pleased to have Glynn in the team as this is something we've wanted to do since the middle of last year. It's easy to forget just how young he is with what he's achieved, especially taking the Pro-Am 2 championship last season, and we look forward to taking him even further up the grid. He's going to be a tremendous asset to our campaign in 2009".

Once again the season, which commences at Brands Hatch on the 4-5 April, will run in support of the MSA British Touring Car Championship and will enjoy extensive TV coverage on ITV4 and the 'Men and Motors' satellite channel.
