British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 7 - 19 April - Derbyshire - Lancashire & Cheshire Car Club - Warslow, Nr Buxton.

Thomas Bricknell won his first sporting trial for eighteen months at the sixty-sixth running of the Derbyshire. Ian Wright led all day but dropped a costly eleven points on the last hill getting stuck on a tree like a third of the entry. As round 8, the Jacobean Trial, has been cancelled, the championship now takes its summer break, returning with the Robin Jager on 13 September.
