Round 3: Pirelli International Rally, 29-30 April
David Bogie extended his championship lead by recording his second victory of the season following a faultless drive on the Pirelli International Rally.
Bogie led from start to finish and – after completing a total of 93 miles on Kielder Forest’s demanding gavel roads – crossed the line over a minute ahead of his closest rival, Robert Barrable.
Jonathan Greer secured a spot on the podium despite sliding into a ditch on the final stage. MSA Team UK crew Elfyn Evans and Andrew Edwards came home in fourth place, having challenged Bogie until being delayed by a puncture on SS6.
