Wins for HEL Brake-lines Round 8, Brands GP

Round eight of the British Superbike Championship was at Brands Hatch at the weekend and the HEL brake line riders had a very successful weekend. Once again the organisers and riders were not blessed with perfect weather conditions and the heavens opened just before the start of the first Superbike race on Saturday. This caused a Moto GP style system with riders pulling into the pits during the race to swap tyres to enable them to set a fast time for the second race grid positions on Sunday.

However HEL brake line user Josh Brookes choose his tyres perfectly and was dominant in the opening Superbike race taking his first Superbike win this season for the Relentless TAS Suzuki team. Michael Rutter was brave with his decision and went with slick tyres and the wiser older rider was soon setting astonishing lap times and pushed his way through to a fantastic second place.

It was Championship leader Shakey Byrne that took a fantastic hard fought race win during race two on Sunday, using his HEL brake lines Shakey went on to take third place in the third and final Superbike race of the weekend.

The Harley Davidson XR1200 Trophy Championship were also out on track all using HEL brake lines, once again it was James Webb that took the victory in both races over the weekend.

The full pack of Triumph Triple Challenge riders are all also using HEL and they were also given a double header at Brands. In race one Luke Jones took the win from Ashley Beech in second and Tommy Dale in third. In the second race the result was exactly the same but only 0.03 separated Luke Jones from Ashley Beech as they crossed the chequered flag.
