This weekend, 20th and 21st August will see the World Motocross Grand Prix heading to the UK and Matterley Basin, Winchester. It has been one of the most talked about Motocross races of the year and the biggest names from MX will be making an appearance this weekend a long with a whole host of British Wild Card Riders.

Plans are fully sorted for this weekend and the crowds are expected to be big with some celebrity guests merged in with the other MX fans, ex motocross racers and current British Superbike riders Chris Walker and Tommy Hill are expected amongst the guests this weekend.

Race Promoter Steve Dixon from SD events commented "We're really looking forward to this weekend. It has been a long time since we had a MX GP in the UK and I'm glad we've been able to provide this to the British fans and riders with this event. Plans have gone really well and we're keeping our fingers crossed for good weather and hope the loyal MX fans and some new race fans across the country will make the trip to Matterley this weekend to support our sport. It's set to be a great and action packed weekend with full entertainment throughout."
