Team Merlin's winning weekend

East Yorkshire rally driver Jonny Milner is celebrating a convincing win inthe fourth round of the Toyota Sprint Series at RAF Cottesmore last weekend.Despite early problems with rising water pressure levels, Jonny managed tobeat old adversary and current series champion Adrian Smith by two seconds -his biggest margin of the year's championship. The pair now have two winseach with two rounds of the championship remaining.Following his defeat in the last round at Barkston Heath, Milner and theMerlin Preparations Team had worked on the Celica GT4's super charger andwas very pleased with the outcome. He said; "The car performed brilliantlyand the high speed and technical course suited us. It's great to be back inthe fight."Meanwhile, the rest of the Merlin International and Rock Oil supported teamalso had a successful day with wins for Andrew Falkingham in A3-Pro Classand York Rallycross driver Ash Simpson in the A3-Street Class. Both are nowleading their classes and came third and fourth respectively overall. Ash'sgirlfriend, Danni Bark also competed in the A3-Street Class and finishedsixth overall.The team that will be back in action for the next round at the CroftCircuit, Dalton on Tees on 4th September.
