Strong weekend for HEL Brake-lines

Round nine of the British Superbike Championship was at Cadwell Park over the August Bank Holiday weekend in front of a massive crowd. Despite a big hail and thunderstorm on Saturday which put a halt to proceedings for a couple of hours the weather was fairly kind to the BSB field.

It was the final three races to decide who goes through to the elite top six to go on to win the British Superbike Championship. Three of the final top six are using HEL brake lines, Shakey Byrne, Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari any one of the six can still claim the British Superbike title.

The full pack of Triumph Triple Challenge riders are all also using HEL and they were also given a double header at Cadwell. Luke Jones once again dominated proceedings and won both the races over the bank holiday weekend. Phil Atkinson was second in race one with Tommy Dale in third with the positions swapped round in race two and Tommy securing second and Phil third.

Everyone at HEL Performance would like to send their thoughts and condolences to the family of Ben Gautrey who sadly lost his life in the National Superstock 600 race on Monday.
