Kevin Ceccon is AutoGP Under 21 Champion

After yesterday's podium, the second race of the Auto GP weekend in Valencia brought other good news for Kevin Ceccon. The Italian driver, who at 17 is the youngest of the entire grid, clinched the Under 21 title and thanks to this success he will drive again a GP2 car, as the special prize for this classification is a free test with the Scuderia Coloni car. It's a really great achievement for Kevin, that came after an hard fought race that saw him end in eight place behind Filippi, after chasing him for the whole race. With the point grabbed today, Kevin also stretched his lead in the Overall classification and now, with just the Mugello round to the end, he is six point ahead of Afanasiev and 15 points ahead of Filippi.

Kevin Ceccon: "I'm really satisfied with the win of the Under 21 title: now that I'm fighting for the Overall classification it may seem not so important, but one shouldn't forget that this was my aim when the season started, so I'm really happy now that I've clinched it. Furthermore, this will allow me to jump again in the GP2 car, and I'm looking forward to it. It was a good weekend for the Overall title also, I stretched my lead a bit and that's a good starting step looking to Mugello. It won't be easy and I take nothing for granted, but I will give all I can to be champion".
