Round 6: Woodpecker Stages Rally, 3 September

Roger Chilman and Andrew Sankey scored maximum championship points on the Woodpecker Stages Rally.

Chilman was quickest out of the blocks with an impressive run through the opening test, and maintained his strong form to seal victory. Local driver Shaun Gardener finished second despite suffering a puncture.

Michael O’Brien reported an intermittent fault on his differential but otherwise performed well to finish third of the championship runners. David Howells now takes the narrowest of leads to the final round, the Cambrian Rally, in October.
