Round 11: Ernest Owen Memorial (Owen Motoring Club), 11 September

New champion Barrie Parker sealed victory in the final round of the championship, the Ernest Own Memorial trial.

Runner-up Neil Mackay won the front-wheel-drive class after John Moffatt suffered a broken differential on his Nova. Dave Oliver drove superbly all day to dominate the rear-wheel-drive class, while Duncan Stephens led the highly modified category despite breaking a front shock absorber just before lunch.
