BIRMINGHAM have announced plans to hold a press conference at Perry Barr next week regarding the future of the club. The Brummies were put up for sale by owner Tony Mole during the closing weeks of the season after enjoying their first year at Elite League level.Co-promoter Graham Drury said: “We will reveal the details at a press conference next Monday and at this stage I am very hopeful that my wife Denise and I will remain in position at the club under the new owners.“Birmingham Speedway has been a big success since the re-launch and if 2011 is, as we expect, to be Tony’s last at the club it seems fitting that he brought international recognition by moving into the Elite League and all that goes with it including the worldwide TV coverage.”
