With only a few days to go, Saturday October 29th, the Iron Man Xtreme is set to raise the bar in the UK for Xtreme Events. Event directors Wayne and Sonya Braybrook finalised the course plan on Monday this week, and the news from Low North Camp is that this is going to be a serious Enduro Xtreme event.
Braybrook said "Having competed in Extreme events all over the world, we have seen everything from the impossible to the insane. We aim with the first running of the Iron man Xtreme to build a firm foundation for the future running of this event. Some may find the course impossible, some may find it easier, but the main objective is to provide the people in the UK with a fantastic, top quality, great value event for years to come, to watch and to ride. Please make lots of noise for the top riders, cheer on your pals, and above all don't be afraid to shout encouragement!! When onlookers and spectators urge riders on, it really does make them feel that they have a place in the event, so come on off road fans make some noise for all the riders - no matter how hard or easy they make it look!"
Get yourselves along and see Top Enduro Star KORR's Jonny Walker and MX Star PAR Honda's Brad Anderson in action. Can HM Plant Red Bull KTM's Jake Nicholls spoil his party and take home £1000 for the win? Will the experienced Xtreme specialist Wayne Braybrook make them work for the win? (We think so!) Or can Harry Hillas, Gary Jenkins and Scott Austin upset the form book?? Maybe Road Racer Jon Kirkham will upset the apple cart? With many more riders thrown in the pot, this is a going to be a day to remember.
One thing is for sure, all our signed riders are fit, injury free and ready to do battle providing guaranteed action.
The course is open on Friday 9am for all competitors to inspect the course. The action starts on Saturday October 29th with the qualifying race at 10am, this will be followed by the Xtreme Trial at 12 noon which will be headed by Jack Challoner European Champion, then the main Iron Man Xtreme Final at 1.30pm.

Weekend camping pass is £10, Admission on the Saturday is only £10 for Adults and £5 for Kids under the age of 13 years, gates open 7am Saturday morning.
