Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholarship winner to be unveiled on-line

The identity of the 2012 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholarship winner will be unveiled on-line at 10am on Friday 4 November 2011. The winner will be announced on the Porsche Origin website, which already carries extensive coverage of the Carrera Cup GB. It will be the first time that such an announcement has been made via the internet and the Origin site can be found at:http://origin.porsche.com/ukCreated and run by Porsche Cars GB, the 'Carrera Cup GB Scholarship Programme' will provide £80,000 to the selected driver to use as a significant element of their budget for the 2012 Carrera Cup GB season.The four finalists completed a rigorous evaluation process at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone on Monday (31 October), including driving the latest 450bhp 911GT3 Cup car on the Silverstone National circuit. They also were put through panel interviews, media assessment and a daunting programme of fitness testing and all gave an excellent account of themselves.
