"The off season has been quite busy so far," expressed Robert La Rocca. "We had a great season in the F2000 car and I can't thank my guys enough for all of their hard work and determination. With a brand new team, a new driver, a new and untested car and new tracks, we were consistently in the front few cars and scored a fifth place position in the Pro F2000 Championship Series."Not only was the Venezuelan the highest placing non North American driver, he was also the highest finisher with the new Ralph Firman Racing (RFR) F2000 machine.Since the final event weekend at Watkins Glen Raceway, La Rocca has been seen behind the wheel of the RFR F2000 machine as well as a Pro Formula Mazda car. Lapping with times under the official Formula Continental lap record, La Rocca is prepping himself for the 2012 racing season and wants to be prepared for whatever car he finds himself behind the wheel of in 2012.The Venezuelan added, "I am trying to help out the people that have helped me all season as well as continue to stay sharp. Training off the track both physically and mentally is great, but nothing prepares you more than being behind the wheel."This past weekend, Robert La Rocca was back behind the wheel and on track at Road Atlanta for the American Road Race of Champions (ARRC) event. Competing in the Formula Continental class, La Rocca could be described in one word, dominant.
