British Supercross, Round 2 and 3, Belfast and Glasgow

A TOUCH OF THE BLARNEY AND SIMPSON IN FOR GLASGOW

With round 1 of this years' British Supercross Championship in the history books and rounds 2 and 3 rapidly approaching the competition has just become even more intense with the announcement that Shaun Simpson and his Bike It Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha will join the fray at the Braehead Arena on November 26th.

Before the tour reaches Glasgow and Simpson's first appearance it will drop in at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Saturday November 19th for round 2 of the 5 round series where a Strong contingent of home grown stars will be on hand to defend home turf in front of what is expected to be another full house after last years sell-out crowd.

Former Supercross and Motocross champion Gordon Crockard fresh from a quick racing visit to Australia will be on hand and joined by fellow countryman Martin Barr who won at Belfast last year. Barr will make his LPE Kawasaki debut after leaving Boost Energy KTM. Also joining the Irish rider line up will be Edward Allingham and Rob Hooper's Maxxis Apico Suzuki rider Stuart Edmonds who won the popular Head to Head at round 1 in Sheffield. This year the local lads will be up against the best ever line up of British Supercross riders and teams seen at a British Supercross Championship.

SIMPSON PUMPED FOR GLASGOW

Shaun Simpson the latest great Scot to confirm for British Supercross will enter the series at round three scheduled for Glasgow's Braehead Arena on Saturday, November 26th where he will be making his long awaited race debut with the Bike It Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha team. Simpson will be competing in both the British Supercross and British Supercross Lights classes in front of what is expected to be a large and enthusiastic Scottish crowd. Fellow Scot Stephen Sword who is competing in all rounds of the series will be out to gather some much needed championship points after a disastrous start to the Championship in Sheffield back in October. Another Scottish favourite will be current Pro Motocross Champion Ross Rutherford.

Once again the Scottish contingent will have some fierce competition as the best ever line up of British  Supercross talent is coming to Glasgow all with the same goal to win the British Supercross Championship and a slice of the £40,000 up for grabs.
