Motors TV Weekly Highlights 3rd to 9th December

Live Race of Champions

Motors TV has live coverage as the season-ending Race of Champions returns to Dusseldorf's Esprit Arena for more buggy-based action. As ever some of the world's finest drivers are set to attend, with Formula One champions Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button, Le Mans king Tom Kristensen and reigning DTM champ Martin Tomczyk topping the bill in 2011.

Motorsport UK Show

Our pick of the highlights from the inaugural Motorsport UK show, which took place at Coventry's Ricoh Arena over the weekend of November 5-6. The event aims to promote and foster grassroots motorsport in the UK, showcasing entry level series and providing aspiring drivers, mechanics and track workers with friendly, helpful advice. Gemma Scott and Neil Cole handle presenting duties.

Live FIM Gala 2011

The great and the good of the bike racing world gather in Estoril for their annual end-of-season gala. This year's festivities will be held under something of a dark cloud following the death of Marco Simoncelli during October's Malaysian MotoGP, but the lively Italian’s life and on-track achievements will undoubtedly be celebrated at the event as the sport looks towards a brighter 2012.

Intercontinental Le Mans Cup Season Review

The best of the action from this year's Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. The on-going battle between sportscar giants Peugeot and Audi continued to rage in 2011, with the French marque cleaning up everywhere but the place they wanted it most: Le Mans. GT Pro honours went to the mighty AF Corse Ferrari squad, whilst the Am class title was taken by French outfit Larbre Competition.

FIA Formula Two Season Review

Returning to F2 after a so-so season in GP3, Italian Mirko Bortolotti needed to perform in 2011. Fortunately he got that message loud and clear, utterly dominating the championship with seven wins and an incredible total of 14 podiums from 16 races. With Bortolotti blazing such a trail it was difficult for the rest to shine, though young Spaniard Ramon Pineiro did so over the second half of the campaign with a hat-trick of wins.

British Supercross

With the MX season over the indoor action is really kicking off, not least in the hotly-contested British Supercross series. Reigning champion Tom Church, multiple MX title-winners Brad Anderson and Stephen Sword and SX2 champ Jack Brunell will be amongst the favourites as the series heads to Belfast for round two.
