Macau Grand Prix Attracts 65,000 Spectators over Four Days

The 58th Macau Grand Prix – Official Sponsor “SJM” has been successfully completed, with a carnival atmosphere both at the track and across the city. The event attracted a total of 65,000 attendees over the four days, and both visitors and local residents enjoyed the sizzling, high octane excitement.

9,000 spectators attended the two days of practice on 17th and 18th November.  On the first official race day, 21,000 spectators were recorded.  On Sunday (20th) over 24,000 spectators, were at the Grand Prix.

The total of 65,000 attendees, including team members and media, over the four-day event helped set a new record for ticket revenues of MOP10 Million.

240 media organisations and 1,000 journalists attended the race this year from both Macau and 26 counties across the world.
