POOLE promoter Matt Ford last night revealed his reasons for releasing local boy Kyle Newman on loan to Peterborough for the 2012 season.Ford, who has recently confirmed the return of Chris Holder and Darcy Ward to Wimborne Road next year, explained his dilemma. He admitted: “Peterborough are keen to use Kyle in a doubling-up role in 2012 and I am already in the process of planning one doubling-up permutation next year at Poole.“We are still not 100 per cent sure how the final pieces of the jigsaw of our side are going to be, but I do not want to prevent Kyle having the opportunity in the top-flight next year. It was a question of keeping Peterborough waiting and potentially losing Kyle a guaranteed place in the Elite League next season.”
