Salon Privé, the Luxury Supercar Event & Concours d’Elégance, has today announced that the 7th consecutive annual event will be held at Syon Park from 5th-7th September, 2012. In 2011 the event relocated to Syon House in West London, and with the move came a record numbers of visitors and exhibitors. The 2012 event is set to out-perform the previous events.

David Bagley, co-founder of Salon Privé said “The move to Syon House in 2011 was a fantastic opportunity to further develop and expand the event, whilst still retaining the exclusive atmosphere and intimacy that we are renowned for. A record number of guests, plus many exciting new brands, resulted in a spectacular occasion that we were all very proud of.  Next year, Syon House will commence a programme of major external renovation, so we have moved our dates to later in the summer to allow completion of the work.  This move gives us additional time to create an even bigger and better event with some very exciting new developments.”

Salon Privé has unquestionably established itself as the UK’s most prestigious super car event and Concours d’Elégance, and 2012 will bring on board more supercar and premium brands than ever before.  Alongside leading marques such as Bentley, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Noble and Spyker, guests will be able to enjoy models from innovative manufacturers such as Fisker and SSC from the US, who join the event for the first time.

In another move that confirms the ongoing success of Salon Privé, it’s announced that Chubb Insurance has signed a new three-year sponsorship deal, as Concours sponsor from 2012 to 2014. Due to the quality of the cars, the Concours event at Salon Privé is widely regarded as one of the top three classic car Concours in the world, alongside Villa d’Este and Pebble Beach.  From 2012, the concours event will be renamed ‘The Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance at Salon Privé’.  Andrew Bagley, co-founder of Salon Privé says “We are both delighted and proud to have signed a new three-year continuation sponsorship deal with Chubb Insurance.  Like Salon Privé, Chubb Insurance provides first-class services to the high net worth sector and as such have very similar core brand values and total synergy with our event.”

“For the past three years, our sponsorship of the Concours event at Salon Privé has proved to be a perfect partnership for us. As a leading specialist insurer of classic cars and super cars, the event is the ideal venue for us to demonstrate our expertise. This year, we were delighted to see so many of our clients’ cars either exhibiting in the Concours or on our exhibition stands. We hope to increase this further next year, and look forward to another three successful years supporting what we believe is the finest super car and classic car event in the UK,” said Simon Mobey, European Personal Insurance Manager, Chubb Insurance.

In 2012, The Chubb Insurance Concours will become an ‘Entries Invited’ spectacular. The organisers have revised the entry process for 2012 to enable open entries from interested classic car enthusiasts. Entries will obviously still be of the finest quality and final categories will then be announced by April 2012.  Entries can be submitted online now at salonprivelondon.com/concours/register.asp  for consideration by the steering panel.

After some research among its high net worth audience, Salon Privé will also offer a wider range of non-motor luxury brands and products.  Alongside Audemars Piguet, Boodles, Pommery, Riva and Vertu will be a number of new brands representing sectors such as yachts and yacht brokers, luxury marble, accessories, fashion, furniture and audio visual equipment.  New for 2012 will be an ‘Aviation Lawn’ which will give guests a greater insight into the ownership and charter options that exist within the private aviation industry.  There will also be an Art Exhibition on the Concours Lawn featuring a fabulous collection of automotive paintings, prints, photographs and memorabilia.

With more to enjoy than ever before, Salon Privé is shaping up to be a fabulous sell-out event once again in 2012. Tickets are fully inclusive of Pommery Champagne, Lobster Luncheon and English afternoon tea and provide full access to all areas.  Tickets can be purchased via the Salon Privé website salonprivelondon.com or by calling the ticket hotline +44 (0) 808 100
