SWINDON have added Jason Doyle to their squad for 2012 in a doubling-up position.Doyle, who was part of Poole’s Elite League title-winning squad this year, had surgery on a shoulder problem at the end of the season and will now be fully fit to race for the Robins as well as Somerset in the Premier League.Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: “I’ve always been a fan of Jason and I can reveal that I made an effort to take him with me to Coventry last season but things changed.“I like his style, he is very professional and he is certainly determined to do well for Swindon. He likes the track and he will slot in very easily with our new-look team.”

JOSH Grajczonek will return to Belle Vue’s Elite League squad next season alongside his full-time duties for Glasgow.Grajczonek last represented the Aces in a doubling-up capacity in 2010 and will have a similar role next year having recovered from a broken femur.Team boss Jim Lynch said: “Josh is a young rider whose progress I have followed. I would have liked him here last season but it didn’t work out.“He is a good young rider who can handle our track. I see this as a signing for the future, not just for next year.”

KING’S Lynn have confirmed club asset Kozza Smith will double-up for them at No.7 in their line-up for next season.Smith, who rode for the Stars during their Premier League days, will be racing full-time for Berwick but will also get several top-flight outings for his parent club.Team boss Rob Lyon said: “I have seen so much potential in Kozza over the past four seasons and I believe this is the year we will see him mature and win lots of races in the Elite League as a result.“I am not sure on his partner at this moment but the main thing is we have a deal with Kozza sewn up.”

POPULAR Czech Republic rider Josef Franc has rejoined Sheffield Tigers for the 2012 Premier League season.Franc will be going into his second spell with the club and has told Owlerton bosses he wants to better his tally of 237 points from 31 matches back in 2010.Sheffield co-promoter David Hoggart said: “We are delighted to welcome ‘Pepe’ Franc back to Owlerton, he is a class act in the Premier League and we certainly feel he can go up a level from the form he showed for us last time.“He has plenty of experience and knowledge of the Premier League tracks and I’m delighted to have him on board.”
