Mark Kelly is the Marketing Co-ordinator of Link International, a major partner to the Australian Superbike, Motocross and Supercross teams.

As a long-time supporter of both the Road and Off-Road Suzuki Teams with products including Motul Oils, RK Chains, Pirelli MX Tyres, BMC Air Filters and Excel Rims, we are extremely pleased with the effort and results from the 2011 racing season.

While there have been many fantastic moments this year in Road Racing, Motocross and Supercross, we have chosen to reflect on our favourite five.

Daniel McCoy's (Team Motul Pirelli Suzuki) gutsy Round 2 win at Wollongong Super X: Facing treacherous conditions, Daniel showed true grit and determination to take the race win and to see his excitement after crossing the finish line you could see how much it meant to him. Emotion in sport is what we all like to see.

Team Suzuki's 8 Hour dominance: After a long ASBK season, Phil Tainton and his team put on a great performance finishing 1-2 in the overall standings. Running one team in an endurance race would be hard enough, but imagine running two! This effort truly shows Team Suzuki's professionalism from riders, the pit crew and all the support team.

Troy Herfoss finishing third overall and being crowned ASBK Superbike rookie of the year in his first season in the Superbike class: There is not much more to say about this performance except....unbelievable!

Team Raceline Pirelli Suzuki's effort in both MX and SX was exceptional: Chris Woods and his team coming away with the Under 19's Championship in MX and SX with Errol Willis was an amazing achievement. Adding to that, a top-five finish in the Pro Opens in Super X and a seventh overall in the MX Nationals with Lawson Bopping. Overall, this team achieved a lot more than expected and we are pleased to be a part of that.

Pirelli tyres first year in partnership with the official Suzuki Factory team: Don Nicholas has been working closely with Team Manager Jay Foreman to get the best from the Suzuki and Pirelli combination. This was highlighted by round wins and podium results in both the MX and SX season. Pirelli looks forward to building on this success in 2012.Overall we are extremely proud to be associated with these great teams and we look forward to another successful year in 2012 and on behalf of everyone at Link International, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.
