2011 Double winners Poole have announced a three-year deal that secures title partners and team sponsorship for locally-based Coastal Aluminium.The tie-up brings to an end the Pirates’ five-year partnership with Castle Cover, with the new team sponsors stepping up their previous association with the club.Promoter Matt Ford said: “I must pass on my sincere appreciation to Castle Cover Insurance for five years of phenomenal support as team sponsors since 2007. The club has won two Elite League Championships and two Knock-Out Cups with their name emblazoned as our main backers.“The fact we have a company like Coastal Aluminium who have extended their backing to team sponsorship enables the club to move forward with continuity. We have had a terrific association with Dave Locke at Coastal Aluminium in the past and I have absolutely no doubt we have now have an even greater platform to work in harmony in the future.”

FREDDIE Lindgren has confirmed he will be available for Wolverhampton's Elite Shield clashes with Poole at the start of the new season.The Swedish superstar, who penned his 2012 Parrys International Wolves contract in front of over 200 fans on Monday night, will figure in both legs against the Pirates at Monmore Green on Monday, March 19 with the return in Dorset 48-hours later.He will then travel to New Zealand for the opening Grand Prix of the season which takes place in Auckland on March 31 before returning to the UK for the Elite League campaign.Said Lindgren: “My Grand Prix bikes will go by freight to New Zealand early but I will be getting in a few meetings in England before flying out there and I will be available for our opening meeting at Wolves.”
