Ford and M-Sport secure 50th world rally victory in SwedenFord and M-Sport won their 50th FIA World Rally Championship event together since the formation of their international rally partnership in 1997. The half-century was claimed by Finns Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila, who won Rally Sweden in a Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car by 16.6sec.The first victory in the sequence was in 1997 when Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya won the Acropolis Rally in Greece in a Ford Escort World Rally Car. It was the second win in Sweden for Ford World Rally Team drivers Latvala and Anttila. Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Cars filled four of the top five places.
