2012 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Season kicks off convincingly. Team and drivers reply for the two days Monza testing, held Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 23rd, have been impressive.Plenty of news starting from the debut of Simone Iaquinta, which lapped only in the first day with Team Torino Motorsport, but managed to score the fastest lap stopping the clock at 1’50”437. On Wednesday the fastest driver was the other rookie Stefano De Val on one of the GSK Motorsport cars. For the young De Val a lap time of 1’50”824. Right behind him another Team Torino Motorsport driver: Emanuele Piva. Bad luck though for him when in his last stint, with new tyres, some red flag halted his time attack.

Third best for Nicolò Rocca (GSK Motorsport), then another Team Torino Motorsport driver, the Mexican Alex Abogado who managed to lap 1”2 faster than what scored the day before when also the other twin Nicola De Val, managed an excellent 1’50”811.Still on Tuesday positive return with the Cram Competition colours for the young lady Giada De Zen seen already in the 2011 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS.In Monza pits also the One Racing Team Mangaer Fabiano Belletti expected to announce his lineup shortly.
