£10,000 ‘up for grabs’ at The Custom Motorcycle Show

£10,000 NOW ‘UP FOR GRABS’ AT BEAULIEU AS HARLEY-DAVIDSON UK LTD OFFERS A STURGIS PRIZE!

Two prizes worth a total of £10,000 are now ‘up for grabs’ at The Custom Motorcycle Show taking place at Beaulieu on the 16th and 17th June.  The two prizes will be given to the builders of the winning custom bike, to enable them to go to Sturgis – along with their bikes – to compete in the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building Grand Finals!

Lorne Cheetham, Director of Ocean Events, the show’s organiser, said: “We are thrilled with the very generous offer that Harley-Davidson UK Ltd has made, to put up the £5,000 prize money for the Modified Harley class winner, which will contribute towards the cost of transporting the winning bike to Sturgis along with travel and accommodation expense for its builder. Ocean Events will be putting up the other £5,000 prize money for the Best in Show bike and builder.”

“In addition, Back Street Heroes and Streetfighters magazines are sponsoring the Freestyle class by supplying the winning trophies and goodies. A trophy and a prize worth €500 to the winner of the Streetfighter category is being sponsored by Rizoma and English Custom Polishes are donating a selection of their fabulous polishing kits to all the winning builders at the event.”

The Custom Motorcycle Show is a UK Affiliate event to the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building. Over 70 World Class custom motorcycles will be entering the championship with categories including Freestyle, Modified Harley, Period Chopper, Daily Rider and Streetfighter/Performance Custom.

Bikers wishing to attend and be part of the show can get discounted entry if they turn up on a custom bike or chopper, bobber inspired cycle, streetfighter, cafe racer or any showy non-stock motorcycle! The Motorcycle Action Group will be hosting the helmet park where you can drop of your lid for a quid! Entry includes the whole of the Beaulieu attraction including the National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear and Bond In Motion, the world’s largest official collection of original vehicles from the James Bond films plus, Palace House and Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and the Secret Army Exhibition.

The Custom Motorcycle Show is all part of the fantastic Custom and Hot Rod Festival hosted by Beaulieu in the grounds of the world-famous National Motor Museum over the weekend of the 16th/17th June. It will feature hundreds of colourful hot-rod and custom vehicles, trade stands and musical entertainment as well as plenty of food and drink outlets for delicious refreshments plus ... a beer tent!

The Custom Motorcycle Show is open from 10am -5pm on both days.
