Ferrari Driver Academy supports Formula Pilota China

Training at Maranello for the two winners of the Asian series

Four days of training have just finished at Fiorano courtesy of the Ferrari Driver Academy for the two winners of the Formula Pilota China. This is the Asian series that acts as an introduction to Formula 3 and GP3 for drivers coming up from karting and minor formulae. This is just the latest in a series of initiatives the Ferrari Academy has taken to support motor racing at both national and international levels as it continues its task of evaluating young upcoming talents.The daily programme was split into two driving sessions for Switzerland’s Matheo Tuscher and Japan's Nobu Matsushita. The two drivers saw how they got on at the wheel of an Italian Formula 3 car, taking turns on the track under the supervision of programme chief Luca Baldisserri.The initiative also offered the two young drivers the chance to come into contact with the world of Ferrari via a programme of physical and psychological tests, along with a day of testing in the simulator. The presence of the two drivers at Maranello confirms the interest the Ferrari Driver Academy is taking in international series and emerging talents. Through this detailed evaluation the pair thus had the chance to benefit from important advice for their professional growth.
