MSA British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 4: Peter Blankstone, 11 March

Roland Uglow won the Peter Blankstone Sporting Trial at the idyllic Shelsley Walsh, one of the world’s oldest motor sport venues.

Uglow led from start to finish to beat Tom Bricknell by just two points and was delighted to win at such an historic venue. Duncan Stephens completed an all-Crosslé podium after beating reigning champion Ian Bell on a tie-break.

Josh Veale won the intermediate class in ninth overall by a single point from Dave Oliver, while Mark Dayson, with his wife Jane in the passenger seat for the first time, won the novice class from Richard Thomas. Despite rolling his Hamilton during the second round, Andy Bell still leads the championship.
