With just about one week to go before the start of the 2012 INTERNATIONAL GTSPRINT SERIES at Monza, new entries and combinations are lining-up for the championship promoted by FG GROUP, now at its first year.

RC Motorsport has committed to a full season, as the Rome-based squad will line-up a powerful Corvette Z06 to complete an high-quality comeback. They will rely on the services of two experienced racers like Roberto Del Castello and Roberto Benedetti.

Alessandro Salvati and his team will aim at the GTS3 class title and the technical staff are already finalizing the preparation of the car. After lining-up for the opening round at Monza, the RC Motorsport Corvette will be fully-upgraded to its latest step for the following event of Imola.Roberto Del Castello will be making his comeback too after a forced vacation due to a road car crash that left him with a fractured leg in June 2011. He's now back to full shape and looking forward to start his own season on top.

«We'll be lining-up at Monza without testing - said Del Castello - but we're looking forward to have a fuly-upgraded car from Imola. I'm quite confident and I hope to be running for a top position since the very beginning».

RC Motorsport will not line up in GTSPRINT only as their two Cadillac CTS-V racecars are currently being readied for the INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTARS SERIES season. The two American muscle cars will be back battling at the front end of the charts, in a challenge with all the series' major manufacturers.
