MSA British Rally Championship

Round 2: Bulldog International Rally of North Wales, 23-24 March

Tom Cave and co-driver Craig Parry emerged victorious from the Bulldog International Rally of North Wales to record their maiden MSA British Rally Championship victory.

The pair finished three seconds ahead of Keith Cronin and Marshall Clarke, who were in turn just 11.7 seconds ahead of Jarkko Nikara and Petri Nikara. “I’ve been waiting to win an international rally for a while, so to finally do it is fantastic – especially on my home event,” said Cave. “Needless to say, I am very, very happy with the result.”

Team UK’s Mark Donnelly was in early contention but retired after clipping a telegraph pole, while national squad team-mates Elfyn Evans and Andrew Edwards delivered a near-perfect performance to finish a hard-earned fifth and win Class 6.
