MSA British Sprint Championship

Round 1: Castle Combe, 24 March

Reigning champion Stewart Robb was the top scorer in the first round of the season at Castle Combe, despite his car suffering engine management issues.

Delays caused by a number of incidents – from which all drivers emerged unscathed – forced the cancellation of the Top 12 Run-off, so points were awarded based on Qualification Times.

Runner-up to Robb was Terry Holmes after a stunning drive in the Team Tegra Lola, while Mark Smith completed the podium following a strong performance in the Reynard he shares with Steve Broughton.
