After Sten Pentus another newcomer will join Auto GP World Series in Valencia: it’s Yann Cunha, who will drive the #23 entry of Ombra Racing on the Spanish track.A 21 year-old from Brazil, Cunha has been a strong F3 contender in the last few seasons, clinching wins both in South America and in Europe. In 2010 he won the F3 Sudam championship after an amazing year that saw him stun his competitors with 5 wins, 12 podiums and 4 poles. In 2011 his commitments included both British F3 and European F3 Open and the results were also good, with 1 win and 2 podium finishes in the European series. After such a brilliant early career Cunha is ready to prove himself on a challenging car as the Zytek powered Lola of Auto GP World Series. With an output of 550 bhp it will be the most powerful car ever driven by the Brazilian talent but he will have the time to get acquainted with it on Thursday afternoon, taking part in the three-hour official test organized by Auto GP World Series on the Ricardo Tormo Circuit.
