.• Sixty ‘In the Zone’ winners to experience iZone first hand.• Round by round prize open to all 2012 classes.iZone Driver Performance and Formula Kart Stars are pleased to announce an £8000 prize fund for the winners of the 2012 iZone ‘In the Zone’ award.
Entering their second year as a partner with the Formula One Management backed Championship, Silverstone based iZone formerly announced the ‘In the Zone’ prize at the Autosport International Show in January and the most recent announcement confirms that no less than 60 drivers from across all five classes competing in the 2012 Formula Kart Stars championship will be winners during the upcoming campaign.
One driver from every class at every round of the 2012 FKS season will be named as the ‘In the Zone’ prize winner and will be awarded a £125 prize voucher with iZone. These vouchers may be used to pay for a full hour at iZone or as part payment for a longer session.
Since the start of the 2011 season iZone have offered numerous Formula Kart Stars drivers an insight into their world leading methods of driver training both in the classroom and on their simulators and FKS Championship Director Carolynn Hoy believes that all ‘In the Zone’ winners will reap huge benefits from iZone’s training methods.
“iZone have been extremely generous with their prize fund,” says Hoy. “But what I’m really pleased about is that this prize can benefit all our drivers, from the youngest Cadet to the oldest Senior Max pilot. Anyone can be ‘In the Zone’ no matter what type of kart they are driving and this prize reflects that.
“Formula Kart Stars drivers have been extremely fortunate to have benefitted from iZone’s superb training facilities over the last twelve months and the feedback we have had from all those who have worked with iZone has been fantastic. iZone really do help our young drivers become potential champions of the future.”
Formula Kart Stars ‘In the Zone’ winners will be announced as the season progresses and iZone will be in contact with each award winner to arrange convenient appointments.
