Six Podiums for HEL Riders at Thruxton

After a rocky opening start to the MCE British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch last week things finally got back on track and some fantastic racing was seen at round two of the Championship at the super-fast Thruxton Circuit. The HEL brake-line users had a fantastic weekend securing six podiums in the British Superbike and British Supersport classes.

Josh Brookes took his first race win of the season for the Tyco Suzuki team in race two on Sunday, there has now been three race winners in three races and it is set to be another exciting BSB season. Brookes rode a very calculated race and with the speed of the circuit it was vital his HEL brake-lines were working to their peak performance and making a clean move on Tommy Hill, Josh took the lead and the win.

The Supersport races were some of the best seen at Thruxton in years, with the ability to slip stream and then it was the brave who managed to out brake each other into the final 'Club' chicane. It was the Smiths Triumph team that suited the track well and their riders Glen Richards and Billy McConnell took a race win each. In an action packed race two on Sunday the top three finishes all use HEL and only 0.2 separated the top three as they crossed the finish line, heart stopping moments for all the packed crowd watching.
