Crash protection leader chosen to cover 35 school bikes

R&G products have been chosen by the Chris Walker Race School to protect its fleet of pupil and instructor machines.

The new school, run from Leicestershire’s Mallory Park circuit, uses 35 Kawasaki ZX-6Rs and one ZX-10R and when looking to protect them from any crashes or drops, British Superbike racer, Chris Walker, personally chose R&G.

The bikes are all fitted with a full range of the British company’s protection products, including its award-winning Aero Crash Protectors, Engine Case Covers, Fork Protectors, Swingarm Protectors and the new carbon/Kevlar® Tank Sliders.

Chris Walker, who also rides for the R&G-sponsored Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki BSB team, said: “All the bikes are brand new and the obvious choice was to put some protection on them as inevitably they’re not all going to be brand new anymore!

“R&G have been a friend, partner and sponsor of mine throughout my racing career and there’s no better choice really for crash protection; they’ve got the widest range of products - from tank protection to covering the forks – with the main ones being the Aero Crash Protectors that come out from the fairing.

“Fingers crossed we’ve got all the bases covered; the bikes look beautiful and the R&G products make them look even more racy.”

The Chris Walker Race School offers a totally unique and bespoke experience for all levels of motorcyclist, from the total novice to experienced road/track riders. The day is run like a typical superbike race event, complete with a race style set up in pit lane and grid girls and features a warm-up session, free practice and superpole.

Tuition covers braking, accelerating, lines, gears and rider positioning and all of the instructors are top flight and current BSB riders.

The school costs £299.99 and dates are already selling out fast. Visit or call 01455 844 078
