MSA British Car Trial Championship, Southern Autos Brickhill

Round 5: Southern Autos Brickhill, 29 April

Seventy-nine-year-old Malcolm Brown became the fifth different winner so far this season after overcoming extremely slippery conditions to secure victory in the Southern Autos trial.

Former champion Duncan Stephens enjoyed a stint in the lead but ended up fourth overall after retiring from his class. Barrie Parker retained his championship lead by winning the New Car class, while John Moffatt closed to within a point of Parker with another dominant win in the Front Wheel Drive class.
