This fall, November 13-16th, the 16th Annual Karting Scholarship Shootout will return to the historic Sebring International Raceway. For an entry fee of $3,000, the next generation of racecar drivers will have the opportunity to learn a lot about racing open-wheel formula cars, what it takes to be a complete driver and to compete for scholarships for the 2013 Skip Barber Racing School race season. Observed by a panel of motorsports experts, fifty karters will be coached as they go through a series of tests both on and off the racetrack. This annual event will be held in conjunction with the Skip Barber Racing School Championship Shootout, where the best of the best will compete to win a funded ride in the 2013 USF2000.
