 Round 2: Silverstone, 6 MayPaul Platt continued his title defence with another pair of wins at Silverstone after fending off stiff competition from the chasing pack.Adam Underhill led the opening laps of race one until an electrical fault spelled retirement. Platt then took the lead but came under pressure from Trevor Roberts and the Davis brothers. Traffic towards the end of the race allowed Platt to open a small gap and seal victory, while Toby Davis out-braked his brother Ben at Brooklands on the last lap to snatch second place.Platt led the way at the start of race two but was passed by Louis Wall at half-distance. The champion fought back, with the lead changing hands several times before Platt gained a small advantage and secured another win. Toby Davis passed Wall at Brooklands on the last lap to take second, with only 0.68 seconds covering all three at the flag.
