Trayler Joins MotoDex Performance First Suzuki

Following their arrival into the British Championship paddock at the end of last season, MotoDex Performance First will make a return at Snetterton next weekend having signed a deal with talented 20-year-old British rider Jesse Trayler aboard a 1000cc Suzuki GSX-R in the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship.

The British-owned and run company is based in Bavaria, Germany and Managing Director Tony Dexter has been involved with a number of teams in recent seasons, as well as fielding AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike star Melissa Paris at the final round at Brands Hatch last season.

The team had originally planned on running a two rider squad in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship this year but instead are backing German Jesco Guenther and Team Suzuki Mayer in the 2012 IDM Supersport Championship onboard a Suzuki GSX-R 600 as well as the most recent project with Trayler in the UK.

The latest opportunity sees Trayler, from Dunmow in Essex, whom was assisted by MotoDex Performance First during their previous association with Gearlink Kawasaki, racing a Crescent tuned Suzuki as part of a single rider team for now.

Team owner Tony Dexter commented: "We are absolutely delighted, thanks to some 11th hour backing particularly from Hel Performance and Rock Oil, to now be in a position to field young Jesse Trayler onboard a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 in the highly competitive Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship and are doubly delighted to extend our involvement with Suzuki in the UK and Germany. We want to groom Jesse for greater things in the future and we will use this year as a foundation for building the team around him and have put in place a support structure and team ethos that will allow him to rapidly realise his full potential. A massive thanks to all our sponsors and to Crescent Suzuki for their help, even as a small team on a tight budget, our aim is to present the team, its sponsors and the Suzuki brand in as professional way as possible and hopefully pick up a few points on the way."

Jesse Trayler: "This is a brilliant opportunity for me and I cannot wait to get to grips with the MotoDex Performance First Suzuki GSX-R1000. I'm still pinching myself that MotoDex Performance First have pulled this together so quickly and the support this new team is giving me is simply fantastic. I really have to give a massive thanks to MotoDex Performance First, Hel Performance, PMV Exports, Yod Siam Restaurant in Beeston, best-log Ltd, Great Cente, Rock Oil and Linxcel for making this is all possible and I cannot wait to get out there to show them what I'm made of."
