Pirelli and The Scottish Sun have joined forces to help promote the Pirelli GP Challenge, a new online Formula One prediction game. Scotland’s biggest-selling paper is today offering one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to the Formula One Santander British Grand Prix on Sunday 8 July.
The Pirelli GP Challenge is free to play and users can sign up at any point during the season. Users make their predicitions ahead of each Grand Prix and the top five performers win a prize. After every four races, a round winner will be announced with all players starting again with a zero points balance. In addition to the individual GP and round winners there will also be an overall winner who will win a VIP trip to the USA Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
A host of big names have signed up to forecast their predictions including freelance motorsport writer and Formula One correspondent for The Independent, David Tremayne and former British racing driver and TV presenter, Tiff Needell. Other celebrity users include Pirelli test driver Lucas di Grassi and F1 journalist and correspondent for BBC Radio 5 Live, James Allen. Users are able to view celebrity predicitions ahead of each race, and can use their knowledge and expertise as a guide when making their own forecast.
For your chance to win a string of prizes totaling a cash value of over £50,000, visit the pirelligpchallenge.co.uk website and make your predictions ahead of the Canadian GP on Sunday 10 June.
