Following a thrilling and eventful race weekend at the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya, the MotoGP premier class remained at the circuit for a one-day test on Monday.

With the first official in-season test being cancelled due to rain in Estoril four weeks ago, teams will welcome the opportunity to try out new upgrades and work on different settings. All of the teams will be present, with every official rider taking to the track. The only addition is for the Paul Bird Motorsport team, who will have Shane Byrne, currently competing in the British Superbike Championship, testing the bike alongside James Ellison.

The test will be run in two sessions, with the first outing scheduled from 09:00 – 13:00 local time, followed by an afternoon session from 14:00 – 18:00.
