Round 2: Snetterton, 2-3 June
Stewart Robb took victory in the first run at Snetterton but lost the championship lead to Terry Holmes, who won the second after Robb spun out.
Having consolidated his erstwhile championship lead with a win on Saturday, Robb qualified fastest on Sunday but spun off and damaged his bodywork, forcing him to retire. That left the door open for Holmes, who had taken second on Saturday and now swept to victory on the wet track.
Colin Birkbeck was a fine third on Saturday and led home the two litre brigade, while on Sunday Terry Graves swept through to take second just ahead of renowned wet weather specialist Steve Miles.
